I knew massage was what I wanted to do after I received one from a professional/ friend in 2005. I had know Idea I needed touch like that. It made me realize a lot of folks are walking around in need without knowing what they needed. I try to educate people on the benefits of self care that have helped me so much. I moved home to attended the Massage Institute of Maryland, graduating in 2007.
After graduation I moved to San Diego and expanded my knowledge, learning from many experienced practitioners at The School of Healing arts.
While expecting the birth of my daughter I Completed Prenatal, Labor, Postpartum, and Infant Massage Training course Nurturing the Mother® with Claire Marie Miller seminars in 2014 to help my Partners journey into motherhood.
Prenatal massage is one of my favorites to give. I find it gives a sense of respite and relief. All mothers should experience it before their child's birth.
In addition to prenatal massage I am also schooled in Swedish, Deep tissue and therapeutic massage. I have taken multiple Shiatsu and Thai yoga massage courses that has influence in my style. I have an incredible amount of techniques to address a host of muscular issues. I love blending modalities to adapt to what I believe is a unique massage experience for each individual. My goal is for clients to leave feeling renewed and connected back into their vital life force rhythms or achieve homeostasis
I currently live west of Baltimore in peacefully rolling hills of Windsor mill. Hobbies include bee keeping, gardening trail running/riding, going to the YMCA and watching my children grow! I am enrolled in Yoga teacher training and hope to finish by end of summer. Staying healthy is what motivates me the most, I love sharing that journey with others.
